Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Interior Saga. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the interior design services we provide. We have written these terms in plain language — not legalese — because we believe in honest, transparent relationships with every client we work with. Please read them carefully before engaging with us.

01Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website at www.interiorsaga.com, submitting an inquiry, or entering into a design agreement with Interior Saga, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website or engaging our services. These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and anyone who interacts with our business in any capacity.

02Our Services

Interior Saga is a residential interior design firm based in Bangalore, India. We specialize in creating clean, minimalistic, and functional living spaces tailored to our clients' lifestyles. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Design Consultation: In-person or virtual sessions to understand your vision, preferences, and spatial requirements.

  • Space Planning: Technical layouts, furniture placement, and flow optimization for your home.

  • End-to-End Execution: Project management from concept development through to final installation and handover.

  • Modular Solutions: Custom modular furniture, kitchen units, wardrobes, and storage planning.

  • Renovation Assistance: Coordination of civil, electrical, plumbing, and finish work as part of a full home renovation.

The specific scope of work for each project is defined in a separate written agreement or proposal provided before work begins.

03Project Scope & Proposals

Every project at Interior Saga begins with a detailed proposal that outlines the scope of work, deliverables, estimated timelines, and costs. This proposal forms the basis of our working relationship.

Work will only commence after a proposal is approved in writing and the agreed initial payment is received. Verbal commitments or informal approvals are not sufficient to begin a project.

Any changes to the agreed scope — including additions, modifications, or reversals of decisions already made — may affect both the cost and the timeline of your project. Such changes must be requested in writing, and we will provide a revised estimate before proceeding.

Interior Saga reserves the right to decline projects that fall outside our expertise or that conflict with our design philosophy.

04Payments & Pricing

Our pricing is determined on a project-by-project basis depending on the scope, size, and complexity of the work. Pricing details will be clearly communicated in your project proposal.

Unless otherwise agreed, our standard payment structure is as follows:

  • An initial deposit (typically 30–50% of the total project cost) is required before work begins.

  • Milestone-based payments are collected at agreed stages of the project.

  • The final payment is due upon project completion and before handover.

All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or any other method agreed upon in writing.

Late payments may result in a pause in work until the outstanding amount is cleared. Interior Saga is not responsible for project delays caused by delayed payments.

05Timelines & Delays

We take timelines seriously and always work toward the deadlines we commit to. However, interior design projects involve multiple stakeholders — vendors, contractors, material suppliers, and local authorities — and certain delays may be beyond our direct control.

Factors that may cause timeline extensions include:

  • Delayed delivery of materials or furniture from third-party suppliers

  • Changes to the project scope initiated by the client

  • Unavailability of the client for key decision-making at critical stages

  • Site-related issues such as structural problems or civic work restrictions

  • Acts of God, government restrictions, or other force majeure events

Interior Saga will communicate any anticipated delays as soon as we become aware of them and will work proactively to minimize their impact on your project.

06Client Responsibilities

A successful interior design project is a collaboration. To help us deliver the best possible outcome for you, we ask that you:

  • Provide accurate information about your home, budget, lifestyle, and preferences at the start of the project.

  • Make yourselves available for key decisions and approvals in a timely manner.

  • Ensure unobstructed site access for our team and vendors at agreed times.

  • Inform us promptly of any changes in your requirements or circumstances that may affect the project.

  • Clear all outstanding payments at the agreed milestones to avoid disruptions to the schedule.

Interior Saga will not be held responsible for outcomes that result from inaccurate information provided by the client or from decisions made without our professional recommendation.

07Intellectual Property

All design concepts, drawings, mood boards, 3D renders, material schedules, and creative work produced by Interior Saga remain the intellectual property of Interior Saga until full payment has been received for the project.

Upon receipt of final payment, the client receives a non-exclusive, personal license to use the completed design for the purposes of executing their home interiors. The underlying design concepts and documentation remain the property of Interior Saga.

Interior Saga reserves the right to photograph completed projects and use those images for portfolio, marketing, social media, and promotional purposes. If you prefer your project not to be featured publicly, please inform us in writing at the outset, and we will respect your privacy.

All content on this website — including text, imagery, logos, and design — is the sole property of Interior Saga and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.

08Privacy & Data

We respect your privacy and handle your personal information with care. When you contact us or engage our services, we collect only the information necessary to manage your project and communicate with you effectively — this includes your name, contact details, address, and project-related preferences.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except where necessary to deliver our services (for example, sharing your address with a delivery vendor or contractor working on your project).

By submitting your details through our website or in person, you consent to us storing and using your information for the purposes outlined above. You may request deletion of your data at any time by writing to us at info@interiorsaga.com.

09Limitation of Liability

Interior Saga is committed to delivering high-quality work with professionalism and care. However, our liability in connection with any project is limited to the total fees paid to us for that specific project.

We are not liable for:

  • Defects or failures in materials or products supplied by third-party vendors or manufacturers

  • Damage caused by improper use or maintenance of installed elements after handover

  • Delays or losses caused by factors outside our control, including third-party contractors and suppliers

  • Any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from the use of our services or reliance on our design recommendations

If a defect arises from our direct work within a reasonable period after project handover, we will assess the issue in good faith and work toward an appropriate resolution.

10Cancellation & Termination

Either party may terminate the project agreement with written notice. However, the following conditions apply:

  • If the client cancels after work has commenced, all fees for work completed up to the cancellation date are payable in full. This includes design hours, vendor bookings, and any materials already ordered or committed to.

  • Initial deposits are non-refundable once design work has begun, as they cover the time and resources already invested in your project.

  • Interior Saga may terminate an agreement if payment obligations are not met, if the client engages in conduct that prevents us from delivering our services professionally, or if the project scope changes in a way that is no longer feasible for us to execute.

In the event of termination, both parties agree to handle the transition with professionalism and mutual respect.

11Changes to These Terms

Interior Saga reserves the right to update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If changes are material and affect an ongoing project, we will notify you directly.
